I have worked at Hinckley & Rugby for over 10 years. I started off working in the branches, where I stayed for 5 years, then did a brief stint in the accounts department, and finally moved to the Business Development department as a TBDM just over 5 years ago.
I enjoy getting my teeth into our brokers’ most complex cases. I love a challenge and being able to apply a commonsense approach to cases that would otherwise be declined by most mainstream lenders. I love nothing more than getting totally behind a case and finding a way to make it work.
During my time with Business Development, I have welcomed my two daughters into the world (ages 3 & 1). They constantly keep me on my toes, and I have a whole new set of hobbies, including soft play, zoo trips, and spending lots of time walking our two dogs – for the peace and quiet! Even though my life seems to have slowed down from my days of throwing myself out of an aeroplane (for fun, I should add), I am still an adrenaline junkie at heart and still live by the motto of ‘no guts, no glory’!
