We’ve expanded our Credit Assist and Credit Renew ranges with new two‑year and five‑year fixed rate options, available from 9am on Friday 25 September 2026. The new fixed rates give clients with previous credit issues greater choice and certainty of fixed monthly repayments, helping them manage their finances with confidence.
New product details
All products are available for purchase and remortgage, offering £250 cashback. A free Automated Valuation Model (AVM) will be used where the property is eligible, with a payable valuation fee only applying where an AVM cannot be used. All products also carry an £800 completion fee and Early Repayment Charges. The new products are as follows:
- Credit Assist – 2 Year Fixed – 6.40% – 80% LTV – CF2F02
- Credit Assist – 5 Year Fixed – 6.45% – 80% LTV – CF5F04
- Credit Renew – 5 Year Fixed – 6.69% – 80% LTV – CRF501
Designed for clients with historic credit challenges
Our Credit Assist and Credit Renew ranges are designed for clients who’ve faced historic credit challenges who have since rebuilt their financial position. This means you can confidently present complex cases where a client may have struggled to secure a mortgage elsewhere due to their credit history, whether as a result of loss of employment, illness, relationship breakdown or other unforeseen circumstances.
We take an individual approach to every case, considering factors such as CCJs, DMPs, IVAs, missed payments and unsecured borrowing. Each application is reviewed by an experienced underwriter, with no automated credit scoring at the Decision in Principle stage.
A credit search is only carried out once the case reaches the application stage.
