The Society won Best Green Lender at this year’s Financial Reporter Brokers’ Choice Awards, recognising our innovations and commitment to green lending and environmentally friendly operations.
Our unique partnership with green retrofit specialist Retrogreen supports property owners to improve their property’s energy efficiency, and to raise their Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating. This service covers the full cost of green retrofitting through a lower-rate green mortgage, overcoming the affordability barrier.

Consumer Duty Champion of the Year
Cheryl, our Director of Operations, was presented with the award for Consumer Duty Champion of the Year at the first-ever Consumer Duty Leadership Awards. The award recognised Cheryl’s commitment to driving the Society’s customer-centric policies, which aim to put the customer first in everything we do.
